Texture and environment artist for a biological multi-scale simulator

We are looking for a texture artist for working on a biology and physiology teaching engine.

We need someone who understands asset optimization, be acquainted with shaders and their cababilities for different types of hardware.

-We value your ability to find real-world references and work out of them

-You should have an ,understanding of different texture approaches such as hybrid textures, Substance, mega-textures, stamping, LoD and other ways of achieving great looking environments with low cost.

-We value the quality of your art and your ability to communicate and productive

We are a US-based education startup, developing a state of the art biology/physiology simulator. We are aiming for a very high quality using WebGL.

We’ll work with a lot of microscopic/cellular views. There’s a few hundred textures needed initially, and very likely an ever-expanding project.
