Development Consultant—Expertise in Unity 2D, Objective C, C#, Javascript/UnityScript

Inter.Act App, Inc. is a start-up company, located in New York City, currently developing a next generation, and we hope game-changing, communications app. We are looking for a consultant to assist and advise the CEO on the development of the iOS and Android versions of the app and to review the work of a third-party developer.

The position will be part-time over the next 6 to 8 months and may result in an offer of a full-time position, most likely at the executive level, upon the completion of the development period.

The applicant’s geographical proximity is not directly relevant to the consulting assignment; however, local applicants (New York City and environs) will be given greater consideration.

The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications/skills:
• A B.S. in Computer Science or similar degree from a respected
institution, or relevant real-world experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing software projects (especially,
in mobile).
• Fluency in C#, Objective C, and JavaScript/UnityScript (Please

• A deep and full understanding of the Unity platform, and a portfolio
of work to prove it.
oIn particular, the candidate should be completely comfortable with
2.5D projects on the platform, creating and integrating bone-based
sprites, and the Unity toolkit.
• A level of familiarity with most common gaming platforms used on
mobile devices.
• Experience with networking is a plus
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Talent for optimizing code for performance and scalability

Applicants without a strong engineering background WILL NOT be considered.
