Unity Developer

We’re looking for a skilled Unity 3D Developer. Are you looking for an amazing job with a great company?

Are you a master of using C# .net in the Unity3D Engine? Do you enjoy rigid structure, cubicles and doing the same thing every day from 9-to-5? Do you strongly feel that a pool table and heated discussions about superheroes have no place in a professional work environment? If so, this is probably not the job for you because we’re looking for the right fit as well as the right skill set.

The company
Based in Montreal, our client is a full service digital marketing and advertising agency poised to become the leading immersive marketing agency specializing in the areas of 360 video, augmented reality and virtual reality solutions. Serving a wide array of industries including entertainment, gaming and sports, the firm is trusted by an impressive list of clients including some major (and very cool) organizations who are not afraid to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation.

With fewer than 20 employees (but growing), this firm is defined quality and flexibility, not quantity and structure. The CEO believes in open communication and all employees are encouraged to talk, collaborate and share ideas.

TEAM: Elite solutions and professional service emanate from a tight-knit team that embraces a “work is play” mindset and mastery of innovative, mind-blowing digital technology. No matter if you’re uber-trendy or a techno-geek, you’ll be right at home as long as you are passionate about what you do, very good at it and focused on delivering quality solutions.

CULTURE: A company culture that is fun, positive, inspired, smart, cooperative and creative infuses a modern loft-style space that features a pool table, high ceilings, an open kitchen and a state-of-the-art espresso machine.

GROWTH: Already excelling in an exploding market, the firm has some very big projects coming down the pipe and a solid plan for continued growth. The company is expecting to double its business in the next year alone. It’s a great time to jump onboard.

Position profile
With a focus on augmented reality and virtual reality solutions (and potentially game applications), your primary role will be designing, developing and maintaining client projects using C# .net in the Unity3D Engine. Working from our client’s Montreal office and reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you would collaborate with other backend teams, the Art department and the Web team.

You will enjoy competitive compensation, achievable bonus potential, medical/dental insurance, 15 personal/sick days each year, ongoing training and professional development, and opportunities for advancement in a fast-growing company that was recently infused with venture capital.

You may be our client’s ideal candidate if you are:

 A self motivated developer with expert knowledge of Unity3D Pro and the ability to deliver elite solutions, provide input on projects and proactively add value to the R&D process;
 A resourceful problem solver with the initiative to proactively research solutions, overcome hurdles and resolve issues;
 A team player who is confident, easy to get along with, and able to communicate and collaborate well with diverse personalities;
 A detail-oriented multitasker and strong time manager capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to evolving priorities and working on fixed deadlines in a time-sensitive, results-oriented environment;
 An assertive, independent worker who is comfortable making decisions and capable of working equally effectively as part of team and with autonomy and little supervision.

 Bachelor’s degree;
 Two years of relevant work experience;
 Expert knowledge of Unity3D Pro including Unity GUI, asset bundles, materials/shaders, and iPhone deployment;
 Must be experienced with Unity GUI, object-oriented design principles, asset bundles, and script writing in C#;
 Experience with OSX, iOS, and/or Mono;
 Experience publishing to Android;
 Experience with Asset Server, Visual Studio and/or Team Foundation Server;
 Proficiency in graphics development (particle systems, shaders, lighting);
 Strong knowledge of C# and the .net framework 2.0 or above;
 Strong knowledge of 3D Math, and data structures;

If this sounds like you, don’t be left wondering about what could have been. This is an exciting, quality organization that will treat you with the respect you deserve. Apply now and explore this great career opportunity.
