Game Engine Developer

We’re seeking a Game Developer with experience building games and systems in Unity and/or Unreal to join our quickly growing team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Engineering team to create components and applications that allow us to bring visually stunning effects to applications built with Unity and Unreal game engines. You must be able to help create real world features based on product goals and work across all verticals to implement cutting edge solutions.

Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with a small team to design, develop and maintain Unity3D/Unreal games
Manage and develop new game engine plugins and plugin processes as required
Enhance existing systems to support new requirements and add new features
Drive the design, development, and implementation of Unity/Unreal tools and SDK’s for our customers and partners to deploy within their applications and environments
Consult with internal and external customers and gather best practices to effectively use platforms as a data resource
Provide recommendations to management, as well as follow on solutions, to achieve strategic and operational goals
Create interactive scenes and animations in engine using 3D assets from Maya
Deliver high quality work and meet strict deadline
Qualifications:

3+ years of animation experience working on games and/or game related technology (middleware).
Experience shipping products in a fast paced development environment.
Must be able to take direction, communicate with artists (and external contractors) and work with engineers to ensure that art and animations are properly implemented in the game.
HIGH understanding of game design for 2D, 3D or VR games.
Strong familiarity with OOP and CS principles.
At least 2 years of experience working with Unity in C# or With Unreal and C++.
4 years of relevant work experience, including programming experience in one or more of the following: ActionScript3, C#, C/C++, Java, Python, Objective C
Strong knowledge of object oriented design, design patterns, 3D math, and data structures
Expert knowledge of Unity3D Pro including Unity GUI and asset bundles and/or Unreal equivalent systems
Strong knowledge of Unity3D and/or Unreal plugin development (native and managed)
Experience with game engine architectures. Must be able to understand UNITY and UNREAL from their engine architecture point of view
Comfortable with openGL or directx , knowledge of real time rendering pipeline is very helpful
Experience with particle systems, and customizing shaders
Strong knowledge of C# and the .net framework 3.5 or above
Ability to work on fixed deadlines
Good communication skills
Flexibility to changing priorities
Experience working on the core engine of a AAA title is a plus
BFA or equivalent experience preferred
